About me
I am an author, educator and media commentator on political issues, with over 20 years of experience working in academic, political and media environments.
My research has dealt with rising powers like the BRICS, the politics and international relations of Latin America the Middle East and political leadership.
From October 2023, I will be widening my activities to include another long-standing interest and passion: football. I will be co-hosting The FootPol Podcast, which will explore the relationship between football and politics.
I hold a PhD in Government and have researched on behalf of international organisations like the World Bank, UNDP, Austrian Development Agency and DfID and taught at universities in Europe, Malaysia and the Middle East.
